EXUM MOUNTAIN GUIDES:
Exum Mountain Guides is the oldest and most experienced guide service in North America, having guided in the Tetons for nearly 100 years. With more AMGA/IMFGA certified guides than any other guide service in the U.S., Exum offers rock climbing instruction and guided mountain climbing for everyone from age 8 to 80 — family climbing days, custom private climbs, and technical alpine adventures alike.
The signature program is a guided ascent of the Grand Teton itself, towering at 13,770 feet above Jackson Hole — one of North America's most famous and coveted summits. Winter brings backcountry skiing and dedicated ski mountaineering clinics, and the annual Women's Grand Teton Climb pairs climbing schools with a two-day summit push and a night at high camp. Reservations are required well in advance, especially for the 2026 summer climbing season, which is already open for booking.
